Shape Miner
When placed on a Shape Asteroid, the Shape Miner platform has 4 Extractor locations enabled.
Shape Miner Extension
Shape Miner Extensions must be placed on a Shape Asteroid, and point to a Shape Miner or another Shape Miner Extension. Up to 3 Shape Miner Extension platforms may be connected to a Shape Miner or chained to connect to a Shape Miner. Each additional extension provides 4 additional Extractor locations, up to a total of 16.

Fluid Miner
When placed on a Fluid Asteroid, the Fluid Miner platform has 4 Pump locations enabled.
Fluid Miner Extension
Fluid Miner Extensions must be unlocked through the Upgrades menu for 25 Research Points.
Fluid Miner Extensions must be placed on a Fluid Asteroid, and point to a Fluid Miner or another Fluid Miner Extension. Up to 3 Fluid Miner Extension platforms may be connected directly to a Fluid Miner or chained to connect to a Fluid Miner. Each additional extension provides 4 additional Pump locations, up to a total of 16.
